Disease feels like the sacrificial lamb to get us through the winter, and to signal LG7s themes, while waiting out FAD, and DWAS’ chokehold. Atleast this way it has a chance of having a chart run. I think most people would also consider Abra to be more GP-friendly than Disease but Disease was a treat for the fans, it finally gave us the dark pop that we have been asking more. Guest Posted February 3, 2025 Share Posted February 3, 2025 I mean, when Disease was released a lot of people were saying how it was a "return to form/oldGa" and how great of a lead single it was... and then it flopped. I honestly think the same would have happened with Abracadabra and I don't really care tbh. I think Gaga is way past the necessity of having lots of #1s and that's for the better.
