It was an absolute shining light in the midst of the pandemic. SL and RoM are absolute BANGER singles; the former infectiously catchy and bubblegum but with that Gaga edge that stops it from being generic, and the latter being one of the best pop collabs ever with hook after hook after hook. The album itself truly is a journey, and ends on one of my fav Gaga tracks of all time. It’s the record I’ve always wanted her to make and the tour was one of the best nights of my life. Also loved Gaga Radio, the ZL interview, all her outfits (and wins) at the VMAs, the fun promos with Ariana, the multiple amazing magazine shoots and the 911 video (hello?!! one of her best ever). For a roll-out that was spoiled by the pandemic we still got A LOT and the music more than held its own. So ready to hear her next pop masterpiece! The music is so great, the time the album was being released I had symptoms of Covid and never realised it was even that until they mentioned new symptoms on the news. Ironically i felt like i could dance the pain and everything through it. It was also strange as there was a heatwave in the UK in March and I spent a lot of time just chilling in the garden playing this album.. that album was everything I needed!!
