Unpopular opinion but I hardly see her pushing a third single from the old songs on the album or she would have already done in the last 3 three months tbh

So yeah new song I guess :huntyga:

What if the rumor is completely fake though? But if there’s a new song song, I totally expect it to be a ballad (the ballad she talked about before MAYHEM came out?)

It's refreshing but I don't really believe the team that didn't do anything for Abra when we were doing 8M daily streams will suddenly have a master plan 3 months later.

I mean there was a ton of Mastercard promo, march madness, and live performances on tv. Radio just wasn’t there and streaming/sales wouldn’t have pushed it further. Her team did a lot, nothing they could’ve done.

Well not sure it's a good idea, the two ballads on MAYHEM are doing absolutely terrible, even for her album tracks standards, clearly neither fans or GP are playing those

I mean, The mastercard promo was literally the release and that wasn't enough for a top 10.

They could have discounted it and released physicals on the second week to get a top 5 easily and they didn't.

This is where we are now:

Spoiler

it will take a tremendous effort of their part to make it peak higher and they didn't made the bare minimum on release.

Well it is what it is, I love her ballads but it's been few years those are not working as good as expected (apart DWAS with Bruno Mars), while trying TTH, performances... Still thinking her ballad power on the GP is overated in this fanbase, while people are underestimating a bit her pop dance music power :vegas:

I'd like her to have another powerful ballad as a solo hit though

No shade but Abracadabra is a hard dance banger and it has done far better than anything she has pushed solo since like BTW era globally

Honestly don't let US peak let you think that danceGa is a flop, because in US : HMH, Happy Mistake tanked really HARD. Million Reasons needed Superbowl to happen (it was flopping hard before). And she needed the Bruno Mars collab promo and ASIB to grab attention in US charts. US is doing meh on anything Gaga is doing with 90% of stuff she releasing as singles. She's always doing great anywhere else, and that should be her focus

I never said it was a flop. It underperformed in the U.S. in comparison to the rest of the world because the music climate here is completely different. To say that her focus should be on everywhere but the largest market in the world is a wild take-- her success in the U.S. is very important to her standing WW.

HMH/Happy Mistake aren't fair comps to singles from actual studio albums. In fact you can even argue that 3 out the 5 non-dance singles she released were successful (DWAS, Shallow, ARUTW) which is a 60% success rate with these type of songs. Enter something similar.... VIY.

The fame monster deluxe to The fame happened tho? I get TFM was a 9 song EP (almost an entire album) but it was the deluxe rerelease of the game in 2009 which is why they are bundled together.

And TFM is treated as a deluxe by billboard.

Ya'll are we calling TFM a deluxe edition of TF now versus a completely different stand-alone body of work in her discography. :Cautious: I don't want her to put out a deluxe album for the sake of a random Dead Dance song unless there is something artistically that compliments Mayhem like it did with the TF/TFM (Ying/Yang). It's just beneath her as an artist at this point

True but you could say the same thing about her dance songs, the songs need to be easily digestible to the GP

Off topic but I still think Speechless would have done great as a single and it could’ve helped the BTW era a bit and the public’s perception of Gaga as well, whereas at the point it was released, Yoü And I was just needless, Gaga was already being seen as an attention wh*re with no talent for too many people and Yoü And I just couldn’t help that, the leading to ARTPOP was already inevitable in mid-2011.

we treat it as a standalone work, as does gaga, but let's not get it twisted. it's treated as a deluxe by billboard otherwise you couldn't brag about the fame charting.

And girl why is a deluxe beneath her :brat:

Well we state it as 1 when the other fanbases starting coming for her, but in our safe space we know the sales are divided by 2 :Cautious:

The thing is that her ballads/slower songs have been far better than her pop music within the past 5 years (excluding Mayhem of course). She can 100% be successful with pop music, just with the right songs. Stupid Love just wasn't it, Rain On Me was a nice song that did decently well... and that's pretty much the pop music she put out since 2016.

I still think she would have had much more success in the U.S. had the label gone with Garden Of Eden if we're talking about pop songs from Mayhem over Debra. I'm going to leave VIY out of this one

I pray to god she doesn't call it that and it has a fresh name. I'm tired of this reheated nachos talk, we are foie gras not french fries. :triggered:
