we just don't have the USA streams 30% of the streams are from brazil but we can't even chart on the USA, we are getting less than 300k daily streams on the USA, and I'm probably being very generous This goes for every album track.

I'm not saying this to annoy anyone, i'm just trying to be realistic And i'm fairly certain her team is thinking like this, making a push for a single on a 3 old month song that isn't performing well on the USA would be insane.

No shade but Abracadabra is a hard dance banger and it has done far better than anything she has pushed solo since like BTW era globally

Honestly don't let US peak let you think that danceGa is a flop, because in US : HMH, Happy Mistake tanked really HARD. Million Reasons needed Superbowl to happen (it was flopping hard before). And she needed the Bruno Mars collab promo and ASIB to grab attention in US charts. US is doing meh on anything Gaga is doing with 90% of stuff she releasing as singles. She's always doing great anywhere else, and that should be her focus

It all boils down the the USA performance, and sadly the USA just isn't cooperating. That's the reality.

Abracadabra is a wordwide SMASH is barely holding on the spotfiy usa charts Plus, now we also have radio cooperating and we NEED radio to succeed on the USA, we can't take that for granted on future singles.

The biggest gainer was Abracadabra at +4.11%.

The fame monster deluxe to The fame happened tho? I get TFM was a 9 song EP (almost an entire album) but it was the deluxe rerelease of the game in 2009 which is why they are bundled together.

I really don’t see them using a Gaga song to promote Wednesday until the season releases….. if Abracadabra keeps growing at the rate it has been it will be top 10 radio in a week and a half or so. TUDUM plus Pride month should give it a streaming boost as Pride always boosts Gaga and she has a new song. With discount and possibly physical sales it could hit Top 10 on Billboard. HBDUWM is also an easy smash just waiting there. She’s also touring in a month and will give the album longevity in the US for the summer. She hasn’t toured for an album so soon after release since The Fame. I’m here for TFM re-release November - February with a single or two prior

The new season releases soon (start of August), that's just roughly 2 months from now, that would give time to the song grow and create even more hype for the show, and USA radio is notoriously slow to pick up new songs.

but that Abra plan also sounds pretty good ngl  if they have a plan like that to reach top 10, it would be genius, but atp I think even the dead dance theory is more likely Not much faith left in me after how they handled the first 2 weeks, when we could have reached top 5 if they did literally anything.

This is such a refreshing take on Abra narrative, and you drew an effective and compelling parallel between TF/TFM process and MAYHEM/futureMAYHEM. Literally well written

It's refreshing but I don't really believe the team that didn't do anything for Abra when we were doing 8M daily streams will suddenly have a master plan 3 months later.
