The #2 song New Day Will Rise from Israel won the public voting, but it didn't enter in the chart, which is pretty odd for a song that should be theoretically loved by users. For sure something shady occurred in the public voting unfortunately

Also last year, the #5 song Hurricane from Israel arrived second in the public voting (and very close to the #1 according to the public voting), but it didn't enter in the global chart

It would be dumb to kill it on radio, but let’s be real - it’s more or less done streaming wise in the USA. 

TUDUM in 2023 apparently had 78 million views on social media platforms coupled with at least 11,000 attendees. Hard to say how much impact it will have but it could be big as Netflix is trying to make TUDUM happen.

Now that I think of it, it would be stupid not to give Abra the Song Of The Year award.

in terms of how immediately impactful it is on the listener and how incredibly fresh it sounds, it’s the song of the 2020´s so far.

I know it’s far from being the most successful one, but it’s the most important on a musical level so far.

The DWAS - Disease - Abracadabra run was absolutely insanely qualitative. 2008-2011Ga is shaking. I feel so grateful to have experienced that in 2024-2025.

I know some people hate DWAS for whatever reason but it’s the definition of an instant classic. The minute you hear it, you just know it’s gonna be huge.

I said what I said.

Knowing the GRAMMYs, they might award Luther or Anxiety or a random H.E.R. song though. They literally gave SOTY to the most random nominee last year (Not Like Us when Expresso, Birds Of A Feather, DWAS and even Tipsy were right there…)

PS: makes me realize, when people ask “how big would Bad Romance be if it was released today”, the answer is Abracadabra.

Luther is dedicated to an underrated legendary and influential artist, Luther Vandross, who passed away and has been getting more respect as of late. It’ll likely go to that song.

I don't even like the song but now I like it because of this. What a nice gesture. Idc about ROTY/SOTY, just take give AOTY to Gaga.

If Debra were free falling, using the momentum from these last concerts with a fan lyric video and performance etc could have helped VIY as a next single, but that seems less likely with each day. To hell with radio-- they always take 10 years to catch up and play a Lady Gaga song (Debra being an example of this). Pick the one with the strongest streaming power and radio will catch on. VIY is legit playing on official county-wide radio stations in Brazil right now.

I prefer VIY way more. HBDUWM is very catchy and fun, but sometimes I need to skip it. VIY sounds like a much grander song and I can’t get tired listening to it.
