monketsharona 78,515
The fact Abracadabra is still rising on radios screams they have no plans yet for another MAYHEM single (so probably not for summer, the general Summer songs campaign has already started). If a new single was meant to be send to radios believe me Abracadabra would be bleeding its way out of overall radio top 100 right now. That's basically what happened with Disease Edited Wednesday at 04:30 PM by monketsharona 5

The fact Abracadabra is still supporting hard on radios show they have zero plan for new single now. Like 100%. Believe me if they had plans you would have already got a song on TTH, a new music video and radio push. They still want Abracadabra to be her smash song from MAYHEM and that's just fine, still pushing big numbers. With her already being such a substantial hit and DWAS being an out-worldly smash, I’m sure they feel no need to rush while Debra is still so strong. Mayhem has hits no matter what at this point.

highlikegaga 8,309
Flowers and Beautiful things were released January, Espresso and As it were in April. All of those were the Summer Hits™ of said years. so, unless something viral happens in the next 1-2 months, i fear we have our summer 2025 line-up: Anxiety, Ordinary, Messy, some random Morgan song (maybe Maroon 5/Ed are gonna be spammed as well) and hopefully Abra. like, we need to realize that radio alone and decent enough streams can make her hit inside top 10. (a remix or physicals in time may make her even hit #1 ) atp DWAS has a bigger chance of becoming certified Summer 2025 smash than for a brand new single to gain traction in time for the summer vibezzz
Gagaism 11,252
I keep seeing ppl speculating about a new (make VIY) single for weeks now but would be so funny if there’s no plans for a next single at all and then
Noir 16,703
Vanish Into You and How Bad Do U Want Me both scream single treatment, there’s no reason why VIY can’t be released after Singapore to keep the momentum alive before the tour kicks off later this year and HBDUWM afterwards. There’s also no reason the rest of the world should wait until Debra peaks on US radio until we can move on to single 4. She can release a non-US single and push it in the US later (if she wants to and/or it picks up traction). Skyana Rava 865
I fully support Abracadabra being given even two more months of time. There really is a difference between being viral online and being viral IRL. The GP generally takes longer to get hyped about songs than a viral hit. Being a viral hit is obviously a life-changing event for a single, and strong step on the way to GP desire, there literally are so many people not on social media and living their lives giving ZERO ****s about pop music, just playing whatever songs they find give them that feeling of yasssss. This can take time when most people aren't like.... updating their playlists for the lates pop hits. Bitches be loving that old ****. My playlist barely changed in the past 15 years (jk it's changed at least.... 25%). So many older people want that feeling of childhood we can't have anymore. ABRACADABRA totally gives that in a lot of ways, it's like a 2000's hit! and also it sounds so 23rd century, like it zaapped from the future. it can just take a lot of time for a wack song to take hold. ANYWAY if you haven't noticed, Lady Gaga is also older now. She's a Millenial. So she probably understands our generations love of pre-technological pre-socialmedia era and that some of us take time to realize a new song has entered their lives. ~~~~ OK, also Gaga doesn't have to release a single when summmer singles are usually dropped. Gaga now has enough power to release a single on her own timeline, independent of whatever mainstream expectations are. Yeah I think Gaga has a significant amount of freedom in her next moves considering the social and political capital she's just earned with DWAS, Disease/Abra, Mayhem release, Coachella masterpiece, and somehow GAGAcabana even more masterful masterpiece. hmm not sure how much I missed there but that's the vibe @lastpopicon I finally started loving abracadab, it took me a long time but she's here and I'm here for her so happy Edited Wednesday at 05:55 PM by Skyana Rava 1 1 1
