I think that Chromatica will have its day in the sun. Gaga's work tends to be remembered more fondly a decade after release. Chromatica is an amazing album, I have faith that someday people will pay it what it deserves.

Also multiple stories of her on the internet being terrible to service workers too, my friend’s cousin (lol I know) worked at a prominent hair salon in NYC and she was a client at least twice and quickly built a reputation as a major b*tch

Mayhem streams would be cut in half if it weren't for DWAS but honestly who cares... every time someone tries to suggest she's over, the undeniable fact is that she secures a proper hit with every release (and wins a Grammy). God's favorite for real. She's always protected.

The fact that she had mad beef w a lot of people back in the day and they came out saying she wasn't nice - mariah, gaga, taylor, kesha, etc.

The thing is, these public figures with the "nice" demeanor usually have flaws and are competitive/cutthroat. I appreciate gaga for her kindness and respect for all people - and she had so many amazing service worker interactions/ stories - but I know that gaga is smart and can be/ has been cutthroat towards others (especially earlier in her career) because that is how powerful people become powerful. Its not all making friendship bracelets and holding hands - I mean, you can do that stuff but you also have to be intelligent and driven as well.

Gaga really is a good person. A good person who is extremely intelligent and driven. The stories of how she treats others/ leaves good tips/ is an angel to service workers when no one is watching/recording her - she really is parent theresx
