Expand Estimations probably based on streams and pure sales. MR isn't above ROM in eligibility, it has way less streams and around 1M more pure sales. Edit. Also The Fame could easily be Diamond and TFM 6x Plat. The Fame sold >5M pure in the US alone and that's not counting TFM ep. Expand I think that tf + tfm could definitely be a combined total of 14-16 million. For comparison, Adele's 21 was certified 14x platinum in 2016 and is probably eligible for 18-20x platinum now. 21 was definitely a bigger album than the fame. But the fame is probably the second biggest female album after 21 this decade so I could totally see a combined 16 million being reasonable. The fame's competitor for the #2 spot is teenage dream and that has been certified platinum for some time now. Also, I think the fame was eligible for more than 6x platinum in 2020, idk why they wouldn't fully certify it. Kesha's praying being 5x platinum is actually wild tho. That song has about half the streams as million reasons. It also has really bad recurrent streams. Idk how it could have sold that many units... maybe it sold like 1 million pure back in the day... Expand I could see million reasons being above ROM bc million reasons had its strongest chart run in the US compared to other/european countries so I assume majority of its sales were in the US.
