It's really wild she's on 2/10 of the biggest songs in the world.

really amazing to see the world domination :firega: Abra is her biggest solo hit since applause and DWAS will probably become her biggest hit ever.

At the end we're talking about AMERICAN pop music, it's all about the money, success and power, capitalism is THE American culture and even Gaga can't change that, won't change that and she's a big part of that and always has been since the beginning of her career :Cautious:

I mean, we're here discussing the success of people we don't even know and celebrates their achievements and how they millionaires, buying their music and merch, all the possible variants because the only thing they give u is either a bonus track that will be on youtube they day after or a different album cover that will be online in a better quality anyway.. while we barely can buy food and pay rent.

So we're the problem, they just exploit it and we give them the ok to do that every single time :Cautious:

Hard disagree :anveeroy:

This isn't a charts thread discussion so I won't go beyond this one reply :ladyhaha: buuuut we are absolutely not part of the problem for buying little collectibles that make us happy or wallpapering our rooms in posters and going to concerts when we're able to.

Predatory marketing (like album cover variants), cheap ass decisions based on pulling maximum numbers (like including hit songs on an unrelated album), and perching yourself in an isolated space where PR dictates what you do regardless of how hard it skids away from what you're known for (like staying silent during an election for the sake of a movie's PR).

All of those are problems and things that she doesn't have to do, things she's never done before :vegas:  she's always spoken out against all the fake BS only to now take part in it which is why I was lowkey devastated months ago.

I've since gotten over it, my stan card stays ripped up despite how much I f*ck with Mayhem, but yeah. My opinion itself hasn't changed. It's a problem with the pop star and her label, not the fans :chica: and I don't buy for a second that the label is forcing her to do these things while she's simultaneously out there saying "for the first time, I'm the boss" :chica:

But anyway, like I said, not a discussion for the charts thread so I'll leave :icant:

The GP loves balladGa :traumatica: Million reasons (after Superbowl), ARUTW, Shallow and now DWAS.

That's why I'm a bit surprised BoG and The Beast are doing poorly on stream, in theory the GP would love them, on release day I actually wrote on this topic that The Beast would be the biggest hit of the album :brat:

Sis said "music not the bling" but at the same time bought a mansion in Malibu :poot:

Gaga's problem was always that she talked too much and talked about herself like she's on the highest horse in the industry, but she was more a camel that pretended that it doesn't watch it's own back.. all the "I don't give a f*ck about money!!!" "Fame will not change who I am!!!' and all this and that.. but please, she loves money as much as I do and wants more of it.

ok ok let's leave, if u want to reply write in the mods chat, and let's ban someone I'm bored.

you get it, I play disco heaven literally every day :bradley: And Retro dance freak gets such low streams because it's restricted on most of the world, America included, Bobby needs to fix that :grr: But music not the bling :whitney:

This is always in my mind 'cause my broke ass is in the mod chat talking about "I really need to see a doctor for this infection 'cause it's traveled from my lungs to my throat and ears but I can't afford it grrr :fatcat:" and you're like "so anyway my husband and I were thinking of popping down to our third house in Italy since I get bored sitting at home every day :classy:"

When we eat the rich, I'm biting you first bitch :ladyhaha:

That's not a problem when you play most of your music from local files :whitney: unavailable tracks, unreleased tracks, and my own edits of songs sit in my playlists.

Bobby, you're doing great, Sweaty

you can't understand how much it's painful to read that you can't afford a doctor, a simple human right as that, I do forget sometimes that I shouldn't brag much :traumatica:

I'm yummy for sure, but too much hair, you will be like a cat spitting these hairballs

We're actually going down to Italy next week:laughga:

Not always. People just remember the ones doing amazing. But tend to forget MR needed the HUGE exposure from Superbowl, it had big issues before the performance and was called Million Discounts for a reason :cryga:

Hold My Hand was milking the powerful ballad type from a movie post ASIB but ended up being very local.

Happy Mistake failed getting attention while getting gold playlisting and visual from performance.

And like you said BoG and The Beast tend to be the skips from the GP on MAYHEM

Looking at it, Abracadabra's reception has been far better than the ones mentionned. My point ballad doesn't mean a smash on lock imo.
