Songs like A Bar Song, Espresso, Birds of a Feather (and DWAS in a couple of months), should not be this high up almost into a year of their release. Radio has way too much power and it takes forever for songs to catch on and fade away. Abracadabra is already a global viral hit. Songs take forever to climb and even longer to fade, meaning fresher music—especially from high-concept pop artists like Gaga—gets overshadowed by simple, radio-dominated hits. There's still a massive fanbase for Gaga, but the system favors repetition over evolution.
