SNL will massively help the album’s streams sustain through the first weekend/week. We have a huge probability for viral moments between hosting and 2 performances versus just one or the other. She hasn’t performed pop music at a forum like this since the 2020 VMAs and hasn’t hosted since 2013

hopefully the announcements today (tracklist + snl + backstage mv) will help stabilize abra streams. I think we'll have a similar or at worst, a very slight decrease in streams for tomorrow.

Chartsters what’s the consensus on further pre-release tracks? Obviously we’re rooting for Vanish Into You to just be a promo single and let Abracadabra live right?

Then I’d assume Abracadabra and Vanish Into You would be playlisted in pop playlists, probably VIY in new music playlists (if released in the middle of the prior week) alongside another album track. Killah will prob be pushed in dance playlists alongside Abracadabra

But then what about Garden of Eden and Zombieboy? I believe Vanish Into You will be radical in sound, maybe electro-ballad akin to Bjork, to give people a better understanding of the scope of the album in advance.

For release week I’m hoping for:

- Massive playlisting and a Spotify feature/suite

- Another YT/Social Media platform like Hot Ones or a podcast

- At least 2/3 interviews on TV and/or radio

- iHeart Radio partnership

- TikTok and Instagram content daily

- Lyric/visualizer videos for each song

- Zane Lowe Interview

and obviously we now know we’re getting SNL too

I could see Garden of Eden being pushed in new music and pop playlisting too! I think it being track 3 (early on the tracklist and will be the first ‘new’ song) is a good point to push it further.

To me, Garden of Eden and Zombieboy both sound like potential radio singles if what we’ve heard is indicative of their overall sound (the leaks and snippet in the Disease video), so I def hope at least one of them (or both) is pushed on release week to see how they’re received on streaming

Abracadabra is #5 on Global 200 up from 10th position from last week.

It has already achieved top 10 in multiple countries. Can we stop pretending that it is not a hit? USA isn’t everything and if it wasn’t for Super Bowl, we would have easily be #8 on this weeks Hot 100 (or Top 5 if the charts weren’t so competitive)

There are already more people around the world knowing about the existence of Abracadabra than about Last night by Morgan wallen wich has spent 16 (SIXTEEN) weeks at #1 on the US hot 100 :icant:

I think Killah will also get some streams from being the only “featuring” track (other than Die With A Smile) and from Gesaffelstein being a recognized name in dance music and honestly beyond thanks to his virality on TikTok and his collabs with The Weeknd

Now we’ve got SNL coming! This is why I think it’s stupid to call a song “over” just because it doesn’t debut in the top ten. Who knows what can happen in the next few weeks?  Songs can grow without front-loaded chart positions

right like we're talking about the same woman whose first number one was a huge sleeper hit... like cmon

give it time. be patient

I think a few things spread across the week would be fine, we don’t want miss gagz overworked.

Also some things I think will happen with regard to streams:

1) Disease will see a huge increase, as discussed previously in this thread for the first few days being track 1

2) Garden of Eden will benefit hugely due to its placement after abra

3) If Gaga releases Vanish Into You MV / As a single, even if it ‘flops’ it’ll get good streams, higher than Garden of Eden in the long haul

4) Killah should get some good playlisting in electronic / dance categories, as you’ve mentioned which should give it decent streams + the collab will help

5) Probably won’t have a major impact, but I’m sure zombieboy, the beast & shadow of a man may get a tiny boost by being the snippet tracks.

Overall, I think by the end of 2025, it would be great to see:

- DWAS (idek how high the streams will be but it’s a mega hit)

- Abra (500mil or more)

- Disease (250-300mil)

- Vanish Into You, any subsequent singles (100mil+)

I wouldn't say #1 this year is on lock yet :huntyga: Blinding Lights was released at the end of 2019 so it only got big in 2020. DWAS will most likely appear twice too, last year and this year :legend:

Yes, Blinding Lights peaked in March 2020.

But with DWAS being an abnormal smash hit, we should consider it pronolongedly peaking September2024–May2025.

Blinding Lights held #1 spot on global Spotify till middle June. While DWAS is gonna be #1 for next few months. :cheeky:
Mayhem release is definitely gonna give it a boost to do 70+ million streams weekly and repeak.

According to kworb, BL took #1 on US radio on April 6th. DWAS still isn’t showing at #1 and  just got it’s peak audience.

Its run doesn’t really feel that different. If BL managed to lend #7 two years after release, why can’t DWASmash aka ChartsKillah end 2026 at least #9-10??:grr:

Wait which snippet is The Beast??

And I sooooo hope we see Disease snatch new peaks on Spotify and global music charts. I think US is almost guaranteed

Off topic but the way nobody is talking about the amazing instrumental she’s using on the IG tracklist post, that sounds like gessafelstein to me :enigma:
