The average drop (calculated on Sunday vs Saturday) for the top 10 songs on Spotify is: -9%

° DWAS did exactly -9%
° Abracadabra lost the most out of the top 10, with -15%

However, most songs in the top 10 have been out for a longer period and Kendrick Lamar is outperforming (probably due to Super Bowl buzz) the top 10 with having an increase of +2% in streams vs Saturday.

If we'd leave out Kendrick Lamar, the average drop of the songs would be -11%. So Abra is still losing a bit more than that, but mostly in line with the other songs in the top 10.

TL;DR: We don't have to worry about Abra's performance, it's still doing well and is just still finding its stability!

Back at #1 in Lithuania, Asian countries on the rise with some exceptions, Europe stable or losing a few spots, but most of the drop comes from USA, Brazil and Mexico, those three alone lost 600k streams. Sunday update effect strikes harder the more you go to the west and less the more you go to the east, but that's the same reason we got new peaks in latam countries on the saturday update while in the rest of the world Abracadabra was falling both in positions and in streams.

Out of the 187 songs that were present on both Saturday & Sunday:

- 20 increased in streams (11%)
- 5 remained stable (3%)
- 162 decreased in streams (86%) and their average drop was -9.5%

thank you for this thesis sis, keep up to good work! we love to see it. but yeah basically abra is still finding its footing and stability, hopefully it can stable around 6.5M - 7.5M in the next few days. also one question, how much of an increase do songs similar to abra’s numbers grow for Monday updates? Like how many percentage on an average?

Well is it? Sure, Spotify wasn’t as big BUT it is a collab with Ariana who was at her peak during those days AND it was an announced collab, Abra was a surprise for most people. I think it’s fair to say it’s outperforming if you take in account those aspects too.

On average, the songs both in the top 200 on Sunday Feb 2 and Monday Feb 3 grew in streams by 7.4%

However, when looking at songs that were released in the past 30 days (recent songs) the average increase is less, at 5.6%

With the 6.154.044 streams Abra had on Sunday, we could expect the following increase for tomorrow:
Pessimistic: 6.498.670 (+5,6%) - Optimistic: 6.609.443 (+7,4%)
