This is the first era I’ve been stalking the charts (and I’m soooooo proud of Gaga). 1
Wet Fire 7,404
Don't expect any impact on charts from the Mayhem Ball. It's the US leg and we know the US isn't that into her compared to other artists.

Bur yeah, still US be taking Gagita for granted ngl.

Oh what a time to be a Gaga fan. Songs that peaked #5 or lower by our standards in those days it was a flop The entire fan base was having a meltdown when Judas only peaked at #10

Amazing music video but they really killed a loooooot of hype for the album and her career at the time. They themselves (Interscope and the Haus) clearly weren’t happy with the way it performed either because TEOG was rushed It is true that nowadays we would’ve killed for Abra to hit 10 instead of 13 tho Edited Wednesday at 01:23 PM by TEANUS British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS 1

Maybe her 3rd album BTW could have had more chart toppers... But then what? Shed have to be more ordinary for that and less memorable over the years. But a big thing is also that by being so extreme and hated for it, she got a lot of attention by showing a toned down and "normal" side of her starting from Oscars tribute/C2C era then Joanne. Her "not being weird" got her so much attention from 2014 to 2016. Thats something only someone like Gaga could get fresh attention and interest for Had Gaga been more toned down when over exposure began... her 1st peak woulda lasted longer but once that innevitably fizzled out it would have been harder to regain interest with anything and theres no guarantee another method would have worked The whole being huge in 2009 to 2011, then over exposed and hated for being extreme and weird by late 2011 to 2013 by non-fans, made it possible to be loved and gained attention just for being normal and ordinary from 2014 to 2016... which in turn made it possible to regain positive attention and reception as a pop star from 2017 onwards staring with Superbowl career resurgence Gagas unique persona and reputation made that cycle possible. Had she played it safe her 1st peak may have lasted until 2012 or 2013 instead of just 2011... but then she would of had a harder time reinventing herself after that and putting a spin. We see her burnout/overexposure as a miscalculation at the time but only someone like Gaga was able to use that to her advantage long term! Her sticking to her guns and doing whatever she wants musically and visually is what has kept her afloat and probably always will.
