Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” slips 8-9 on the Hot 100 after five weeks at No. 1 beginning in January. Already the longest-charting song in the top 10 ever by a woman artist — 45 weeks — it surpasses The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay,” in 2021-22, for the longest such stay for a collaboration. Overall, only “Lose Control,” “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” (60 weeks) and The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” (57) have spent more time in the top 10

They should create a new alternative version and use it on a tv show so it climbs back up :creepflop:

I mean, nothing else from Mayhem is charting or getting promoted, might as well ...

Am I biased or something, I thought HBDUWM would be an automatic number 1 :saladga:

I'm convinced "Swine" would gain major traction if she brings it back for MAYHEM BALL.

It's always this one or the horse clip with Milly.

Seeing people keep commenting that not releasing another single is a mistake is so weird. Have y’all even considered that maybe that’s just not what she wants or prioritizes? Yes past gaga did care about chart success, but I feel like she doesn’t care that much in this era anymore. (like if they were really chasing numbers and charts, they would’ve released physical cds/vinyl for disease and abra, or pushed more radio play from the beginning.)

She seems so confident and at peace with her music and herself in this era that she doesn’t need those numbers. (dwas getting big is just a cherry on top.) We’re seeing a grown-up and more mature artist, we should be happy and proud that she’s reached this point in her career.

And if some of you just wanted her to release another single to get a music video, I believe she’s prioritizing the world tour instead to give us equally amazing visuals. (but who knows maybe I’m wrong here, maybe we’ll get a surprise mv in the future)

At least she cared about a caurated vision expressed via mv. The fact that at least VIY and SOAM DONT have a mv is heretical

tbh I'm not surprised anymore, it's been played on Australian radios for weeks and still didn't show any signs of jump on streaming platforms. I guess NZ radios are hesitating a bit cause of it, also the lack of promo or single confirmation could make it struggle even more
