Its both funny and heartwarming how much Brazil has embraced Gaga. And I feel like her cultural impact wasn't ephemeral, you know? There was an expected decrease in the number of streams but MAYHEM is still the most streamed international album and Gaga is still the most streamed international artist on Spotify Brazil. It's been almost two months since her concert and Gaga is still on the minds of the general public, as you can see from the video I previously posted. And about a week ago, you posted that lip sync battle where the actress lip synced Abra in Brazil’s biggest tv station. And honestly I’m surprised with this outcome. In this digital age where music consumption has become quick and disposable, having a cultural impact after all this time is something really remarkable. Yesterday during the LGBTQ+ parade in São Paulo, a famous DJ played a remix of Abra and the audience went crazy. It was like Copacabana again in terms of love and appreciation for Gaga. 2 1

RochestrMonstr 3,136
DWAS is just casually walking up to slap Shallow off the pedestal it’s been on for basically its entire existence, as though it’s an empty soda can! I adore Shallow, but it’s almost like it’s getting a taste of its own medicine as far as dwarfing the success of other songs. I’m sure Million Reasons would find it funny, if songs had personalities and were catty. 4
