Performed the largest attended show by a female singer in history on top of delivering multiple other great performances and shows at Coachella, SNL, Howard Stern, TUDUM and her Mexico/Singapore shows. She still has her biggest tour ahead of her and Wednesday appearance. I think the reality is the music industry has changed successful single eras now last much longer. DWAS and Abra are still charting. Given the album sticker noting ViY and she keeps reposting social media that talks about another single. I think it’s possible she is waiting till around her tour launches to release it. Also imagine her team has some contacts to know that Benson, Sabrina, Mariah, Lizzo, etc. are/were releasing soon among other artists and to give them some breathing room in June. I’m so happy with this era and how it has ended up and grateful for what she has done. Although fingers crossed for HBDUWM in July. It is very clearly payola. Her spins lose are as high as 900 spins (2nd highest in history) in one day on pop format.
