None of the songs considered managed to maintain their momentum (GOE, VIY and even HBDYWM - although the last one has been sent to radio). We're lucky if we get a cute video a la 911, but the promotion for the album is probably over Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Now, I'm a bit scared of the possibility of nothing happening after the insane hype that's been happening over the last week with HBDUWM I was firmly on the no single camp after tudum but y'all convinced me something was coming and all the movement with HBDUWM being sent to radios in multiple countries kinda seemed to confirm that, hell, even UMG is posting stuff about it. But the GMA interview is apparently pre-recorded and will probably be a non-event and I kinda think releasing an album track as a single on the US can not only flop spectacularly but also hurt her AOTY campaign.
