That's not how it works tho. 

IF we don't get any single this summer it will mean either 

1. They're still pushing Abra, especially in the US 

2. The era is done

It wouldn't make sense to have a huge break for months and randomly release a new single from this album in August. 

If her team is smart, they'll release a new song from a deluxe album around Wednesday season 2, with the song ideally being featured on the show to give the album a second life.

Even if she doesn't release VIY in the summer, she can release it in the fall. She doesn't need to change the single according to the season, a good song is a good song. If she changed the single choice to align with Halloween, that would be crazy... Disease 2.0. Other than Christmas, music isn't prioritized around a holiday like that

Also what is this trust me bro energy lmao, she could very well release something in June or July-- we don't know yet. If they abruptly pull Debra from radio, it's a clear sign but just because they haven't yet doesn't mean that a new single isn't coming.

Ok last note, are we forgetting that the album sticker/label planned for 3 singles including VIY (and the shout out to DWAS)? If the album was doing poorly, only then would they reconsider pulling single #3 but it is clearly doing well in the U.S. & WW. A third single is not out of left field...

DWAS - 16 Aug 2024 (Fri)

Disease - 25 Oct 2025 (Fri)

Abracadabra - 3 Feb 2025 (Mon)

----------- 133 days -----------

Single #4 - 16 June 2025 (Mon)

 

16 June 2025 is also the TEOG music video anniversary, so Gag will drop the song and MV on the same day.

TEOG was the third single from BTW, and by logic, MAYHEM's fourth single is actually the third not until DWAS messed it up 

16 June 2025 is also exactly a month before the MAYHEM Ball kicks off on 16 July 2025 in Las Vegas.

So it feels like everything adds up, and there u go my delusional ass but we'll see

It's definitely being pushed by Interscope on US radios. MAYHEM / Abracadabra is giving Birds Of A Feather / Hit Me Hard And Soft treatment as of now

Obviously, but if you want to maximize the success and momentum you don't just break the era and come back with a fourth singles months later.

We've seen the result when they did this with G.U.Y, John Wayne and 911.

If the purpose is to give a gift to the fans, then sure.

If it's to keep the era going, then wrong strategy.

Nowadays it's really hard to tell what works and doesn't tbh, all it takes is some virility and some luck:

With the right MV and a good radio push they can restart the era imo I can totally see them investing in something for Halloween. 

I still hope they push ViY for the summer though, it's the summer smash waiting to happen, literally the most streamed album track, an organic hit with barely any play-listing, they should act now.
