The worst part is, most women Gaga’s age would not be able to get a single into the top 20 on pop radio at all, even with something radio-friendly. She just needs to pick the right song that aligns with current radio & streaming climate— I think it has less to do with her age. Expand idk if I completely agree. It take so much longer for songs to grow on radio now than it did a decade or even five years ago. Part of me thinks that abra still has a decent shot at its radio potential. Good callout scores, 700k tiktoks. Songs take so much longer to build up these days. Giving up on abra now is wasting so much potential. The goal is to get the song to chart for as long as possible. A later radio peak will actually help this. I'd love to see 30 weeks for abra on the hot 100. If Abra could go top 15 or top 10 on overall radio in the next few months, It'd be great.
