This shows how the straight men hip hop fanbase is united and support rap music by streaming new music regardless of the artist or quality. In pop culture we are more concerned about our own pop star and stan twitter only where we pull each other's favourite. Apart from Taylor or Billie, which female pop artist can occupy the top positions like this?

This album is really terrible, I hope it free falls by next week.

It’s also maga land in the US. And semi misogynist. It’s more okay for a straight male to stream hip hop vs pop music, so the genre reaches straights, girls, and gays. Putting abra as the theme for March madness will reach an entire audience that would have never touched the song because it’s not some male rapper.

Abra is really holding on though! It survived Superbowl and 2 album bombs already (Drake and now Carti), with the radio support and stable streams we'll probably be able to fight back some positions in the coming weeks, then we have Coachella, that will be a big help, and march madness is ongoing atm. Abra still are some fight in her. :golfclap: Plus, we are certainly staying TOP 10 in global, the chart that actually matters :fan:

Spoiler

and thanks to the mods for deleting my double post, i was lagging :cryga:

"MAYHEM" (21) now has more #1's on official charts worldwide than "COWBOY CARTER" (20).

I listened to some tracks Yesterday to try and understand the hype. Its atrocious. Actually an offense to the genre. Its really that, but every single Song has One or two feats, its impossible tò compete.

Jesus and everyone on this site and on the media, oh but She smashed cause its a collab:sweat:. Its almost unfair honestly

MAYHEM has surpassed Joanne in total worldwide units and about to surpass Chromatica in Spotify streams.

Just 99M streams to surpass Chromatica streams, in about 5/6 days. :vegas:

Well, BTW has become her third era to have all of its music videos surpass 100M on YouTube (5/5). TFM being the first (3/3) and ARTPOP being the second (2/2 )

And I think it's going to remain like that for a while until 911 reaches 100M in 2026 or Look What I Found in 2027.

RIP The Fame (BDR, Eh Eh), Joanne (JW, Joanne) and Mayhem (Disease).

Actually TFM has 4/4 MVs (Telephone x2, both above 100M) and ARTPOP has 3/3 (G.U.Y x2, both above 100M) :whitney:

POLAND

Mayhem debuts at no. 1 on official albums chart.

This is HUGE! Gaga is not very popular in Poland. She only has one no. 1 album here (The Fame Monster), so Mayhem becomes here second polish chart-topper.

I don't understand how Chappell debuts top 5 with that song when any of Gaga's recent singles haven't managed to crack the top 10...

Is she doing those many streams on Spotify? I thought the song was tanking

This says a lot about her fanbase in the US...

Still an early prediction but The giver is more stable on streaming now and has decent radio support.

Also, we have to realize, abracadabra debut point was 174, that would net a top 5 debut if it released today.

It depends on the release timing as well, yes she did have Grammys but she lost 3 days of tracking on its first week, second week she had the superbowl against her and they predicted 170 points for Abra which would be an easy top 10 this week.

I’m still so annoyed about that, the top 5 hit that got away :traumatica:
