is everyone seriously underestimating ABRACADABRA?! Y’all did the same with DWAS.

she is giving the song legs. Let it happen and trust the process. Her promo has been proven to be effective this era and intentional. Have faith. Stop the drama and start the music

Even if it was it’s not that easy to make it happen.
1) Image all the Mayhem ( :cheeky:) going on behind the scenes for them for MONTHS trying to make everything work out.

2) Vinyls are not that easy to organise. It’s not like you write an email and it‘s done. Many artists said they had to 3-6 months ahead book a factory to make them since there is not enough factories who manufacture them.
Adele said she had to book all of them for 3 months to get the numbers needed.
Even Chappel Roan is releasing vinyls now for a single coming out in August:sweat:

Idk I would think physicals for major singles are automatic and part of the mandatories for a rollout. To not have the foresight for it is a bit incompetent for whoever is doing that in her team.

They shot the video in December iirc, which means they would have decided on the single in Oct or November maybe?

And if somehow that's still not enough lead time for vinyls, they could have easily produced CDs.

But who knows, maybe they announce them tomorrow.

I think if Abra remains stable on streaming and they continue to promote it could snatch at least one week at #9/#10 when radio peaks

We NEED physical singles!

And we do have the fan video of Abracadabra yet to be released so maybe there is still a big push imminent and we get the physicals then. :derpga:

We'll see what happens but I think this just shows how paramount it is to release singles that are easy on the ears and on-trend with the music climate.

All of the songs out right now on radio/streaming are easy-breezy, fun, sweet, and mid-tempo. I think she should go with GOE (a bit riskier given the edge, but still has a super-sugar chorus) & Zombieboy (feel-good track), LoveDrug (goes without saying).

Lady Gaga officially ties Tate McRae & Taylor Swift's record for the  most songs charting simultaneously on a weekly published US Pop Radio (Mediabase) chart by a female artist (5).

Ties the record with Taylor :applause:

Equivalent album sales, a measure to capsulate streams into unit consumptions / purchase of music / sales

Abracadabra is predicted to rise to #15 in the Hot 100. 3 points away from #14 and 24 points away from the Top 10. Unfortunately, looks like it’s over for Abra. No re-peak

the physical sales were a must if they wanted to push for a new peak.

Where’s that user who was condescending towards and attacked me for saying Abra would not perform well during Album week? We had a bet that I would eat my words or they would delete their account if it didn't reach top 10 lol. Guess I won :ohwell:

Does this account for XM radio? Didn’t she have her own xm station playing tracks? Also snl YouTube views are over 1 million and her tracks in general are growing on streaming and purchasing platforms as well as radio. I think it could do slightly better than expected.

Halloween single? :Lurk:

My bets for the next single are How Bad Do U Want Me or Vanish Into You.

I feel like many people won't be happy if it ends up being HBDUWM.

It's insane she has to fight this hard to get her song played on the radio. They play the same songs from nearly a year ago...

Abra is #12 on top 40 and DWAS is #2 , that’s pretty crazy radio support. And abra is still gradually rising.
