Abracadabra is #5 on Global 200 up from 10th position from last week.

It has already achieved top 10 in multiple countries. Can we stop pretending that it is not a hit? USA isn’t everything and if it wasn’t for Super Bowl, we would have easily be #8 on this weeks Hot 100 (or Top 5 if the charts weren’t so competitive)

Totally agree - for me a hit is more about longevity than hitting #1 on BB100

Look at Texas Hold Em as an example... It hit #1 and it doesn't have many streams after 1 year in comparison with other songs and after all the promo and winning Grammy's etc.

Or that 4x4 song that was no. 1 for one week on Hot 100 and then dropped like 50+ positions

Now we’ve got SNL coming! This is why I think it’s stupid to call a song “over” just because it doesn’t debut in the top ten. Who knows what can happen in the next few weeks?  Songs can grow without front-loaded chart positions
