The Super bowl effect is actually much bigger than we thought, all the kendrick songs are still going up, I think we will have to wait a few days for it to fade

Idk, whatever happens, happens. My greatest happiness this era was seeing Gaga be BACK BACK, the music is so incredibly good, I have no expectations past that! But we WILL continue to stream!

The average uplift of the top 200 songs of last Mon>Tue was +2,70%
For recent songs on the top 200 (on the chart less than 30 days) there was actually a decrease on average with -0,80% (I guess because they're still stabilizing or not being liked and declining as a result).

Abra had 6,687,740 filtered streams yesterday, so we could expect anything between 6,620,863 (-0,8%) and 6,868,309 (+2,70%). However, Abra was yesterday outperforming the average, so in a very optimistic scenario, it could amount to 6,921,811 (+3,50%).

TL;DR: I expect anything between 6.62M & 6.92M

Let's see! :coffee:

So it was more negative than my negative scenario :rip:

Clear that it still needs to stabilize. It will probably stabilize around 5.5-6.0M in the weeks before the album drop

Even if "Abracadabra" doesn't become a massive USA smash then it's ok.

That song already brought a ton of attention to Mayhem, Disease and her catalogue in general, so all is aight

Yep, we all expected it to be there but not to this extent, the fact that his songs are still rising is insane.

Yes. I’m afraid that 8.4mil and #2 peak last Friday raised our expectations WAY to high, I know we would all like for Gaga to have a super smash hit that pulls close to 10mil streams daily but that’s a VERY hard thing to do. If the song stabilizes anywhere abive 5.5 mil then it’s a hit and we must be happy. Without Kendrick that’s still a top 10 song. The song IS a hit and that’s all that matters, we wanted a new Gaga classic for people to know and for her to perform moving forward and we got it!

Those of us who watched found his show uninteresting and lackluster, but that is probably not objective, as we are used to pop performances. And let's not forget, in the US alone, probably more people saw the show than ever before.

Are we trully melting down over a 6.2M filtered update on a solo pop banger by Lady Gaga ? :enigma:

Right? I feel like I only know the basics with a lot of this, and yet considering this particular Super Bowl — Abra is still in the global top 10 with a negligible drop for a solo Gaga song released just over a week ago, mid-week no less.

“Abracadabra” enters the Top 40 on today’s US Hot AC Radio (Mediabase) rolling chart.

Maybe the SNL concert and Hot Ones will boost it back back up to 7M :vegas:

The average growth of the top 200 songs (excl. Kendrick Lamar & SZA - Superbowl Effect) was +1,30%

DWAS did +1,82%
- Disease did +1,10%
- Poker Face had -3,98%
- Abracadabra did -6,25%

> DWAS doing better than the average of the top 200 while Abracadabra is clearly performing less well than the other songs. In fact, Abra had the 4th highest drop in relative streams out of all songs :rip:

Let's hope the YouTube promo and SNL can bring some stabilization in the upcoming days/weeks

I think it's a fine worldwide update. 6M+ 10 days after release is great.

I'm more worried about the US streams. Like, if this goes top 10 in a bunch of places overseas but misses out on the BH100 top 10 here in the states? Would be a mess.
