I cannot believe we are experiencing this right now… DWAS came out of nowhere and became her biggest collab yet maybe even song ever, Abra came out of nowhere and is her biggest solo hit in over a decade… what does it say about her career in general? It seems like whatever we have high expectations for, ends up disappointing ( Joker & Disease ) but somehow, what we don’t expect or even be able to anticipate, ends up being mega succesful. And it’s a pattern you can trace back to the beginning of her career really. It’s crazy how even when we lose, somehow we still win. It’s insane.

People thought Mayhem was doomed after Disease and that adding DWAS to it was a cheap move to save it’s performance yet hello, here we are now. So she has one of the biggest songs ever on this album, her biggest pop solo song in over a decade & Disease which might be a cute sleeper hit at least on streaming platforms similar to Bloody Mary or Judas in the long run… what does that say about this album? It’s either gonna be on par with her most succesful projects yet, TFM & BTW or… maybe even outpeak them if there’s at least one more hit on it…. this is INSANE. Gaga is REPEAKING, almost 20 years into her career, how many of us thought we would ever say that?

I hope this gives little monsters some comfort, her career is like nobody else’s, she does anything & everything and yet still maintains her relevancy, Gaga is eternal babes. She is not going anywhere.

So apparently Gaga has the longest nr. 1 on itunes by a female act in history AND the longest nr. 1 on Spotify in history. Dominating both the digital era & streaming era is insane. Yeah, after this era people should start talking about her the way they do about Taylor & Beyonce.

You know, after this week’s Abracadabras performance, I’m more than satisfied with my inner little charster, DWAS achievements keeps coming, Disease is still there and we have much more to come.

This is it.

And the 2024 rollercoaster ride of last semester just made it much more exciting.

Friday. But it is worth mentioning that it is a special concert and not the regular show, so I feel the impact will be a little smaller than usual.

EDIT: I just read it won't be televised, so I feel it will have very little impact. We need televised performances

Fantano really liked "Abracadabra" guys.

It's a return to her BTW/ARTPOP style and even though he enjoyed Chromatica, Anthony finds "Abracadabra" to be one of her best singles in years.

I hate it when critics who loathed BTW/ARTPOP are suddenly like ‘why wasn’t she doing more of this stuff?’ now
