For that thing to happen the song would need go viral (e.g. Bloody Mary and we still didn't get a video). I think they'd rather release something fresh if they were to work again. Dance. Sex. Art. Doesn't need a viral moment, BP is huge on YouTube and they would still amass 20M views first day for SC music video, even the audio got over 20M first day. Wasted potential...

BTW had so much potential (like Gaga said she wanted 9-10 singles), but MTN underperformed and they stopped releasing more. Same with ARTPOP, GUY flopped, so that was it. I think it also has to do with ROM getting only #10 on Pop radio, considering it was with Ariana, coming from her biggest era and had very good radio airplay. Interscope was still satisfied that they got a #1 single, #1 album, ROM won a Grammy so it was a satisfying era. I mean we got platinum album, a multi-platinum big hit, another top 5 song approaching multiplatinum certification. And it was actually slightly more successful than ARTPOP (at the beginning), sold more units first week than Joanne/ASIB/ARTPOP/C2C in the U.S.. Chromatica didn't flop. Just look at Smile that had like 6 music videos and 0 hits... and all songs with MVs are gaining way more streams on Spotify too. It's absurd how Interscope ditches albums like that. I mean c'mon, music videos ain't that expensive.

Wasted potential... Personally would love to, but so much time has passed. Something would need to happen some push (even if not a viral moment as you say). From a business perspective if they were to work together again, they would rather do something new, it would attract more audiences, SC has been already listened by some people, this would attract new interest, including the non K Pop stans. 19 minutes ago, JustTea said: Just look at Smile that had like 6 music videos and 0 hits... and all songs with MVs are gaining way more streams on Spotify too. How many do we have now?

Woman's world had GUY level of success but they still released two more singles to promote the album even though they didn't even chart Interscope didn't even try to release 911 as a proper single like SL and ROM, it just has a music video and some remixes. If sent to radios and had physicals like Bloody Mary, it would've atleast entered the Billboard.

Yes, simple ones are cheaper but still over 100k$. Someone would say Disease got s simple MV, but that set, video production and most probably 3 days of filming costed a lot. No record label will finance a MV just to get a little boost in streaming
