'Cause you like my hair, my ripped-up jeans
You like the bad girl I got in me
She's on your mind, like, all the time
But I got it tattooed for us last week
Even good boys leave
How bad, bad do you want me?
How bad, bad do you want me?

This song is probably the best. The rest, no thanks.

****, this is a such a carefree album to play with the car's windows open on a sunny day with your lover beside you

4/5 star reviews so far from major publications! I see people complaining but I feel like that’s pretty good!

haven’t listened yet… waiting for it to drop in the US!

This are the same fans that begged for the original Babylon lol. I feel like most people criticizing the record are not sitting with it for enough time.

Only on my 4th listen right now I am being able to bop my head and have a better understanding of it all, the rythms, hooks, structure. You have to have some listens first to get some predictability in your brain, see if your body learns how to bop to it, and THEN you can judge. People like to, too soon, drop the boom boom gun.

I have already accepted that overall i don't like this album. Somehow i expected a full dark/industrial album (indeed my fav is Perfect Celebrity), there is no song really memorable like i am used to for every album she has made before. My fav are Abra, Perfect Celebrity, Shadow of a Man and Dwas. I love her and my opinion on this album won't change my opinion and my love for her, but Born This Way imo is still unmatched and the fact that some old songs from that album are still used on the internet after all these years say a looot about it.

Well, it is part of the BTW, TFM trinity, because it's way better than ARTPOP, Chromatica and definitely Joanne :ladyhaha:

I just finished a second listen of the entire bum and I feel so emotional.

I will write a long post about it with my thoughts, but I have to say this album took me back to when I saw her on stage for the first time in August 2009, and thought to myself "oh my god. I've never seen so much talent".

This is my third pop release from Gaga that I'm listening in full at the time of release. And one thing I noticed is that they always require some time of getting used to, some time to reorganize expectations. I loved Chromatica when it came out and nowadays it feels like hot dog water to me, things change. All we need is time. I'm curious for opinions a year from now :huntyga:

Exactly. I personally did not enjoy the second half to the album as much, but after my second and third listen it got SO much better. People think every good album is an instant love at first sight and that’s rarely the case, more with someone like Gaga.

I did not connect with Chromatica at all and it took me a good entire week to process. I ended up loving it and going ti the tour. Mayhem has actually been the album with most instant love reaction from me, which means everything else will get better. Fans just need to give it time

I love ARTPOP and chromatica more than this mainly for Production (ARTPOP) and lyrics (chromatica). But yeah it's just a perception as you can see because i rate those album higher than mayhem

Same! I don’t like ir when old albums get trashed the moment a new one arrived, but Chromatica, while may have some bops, lacks soul comoared to Mayhem
