I don't think that just two hours in advance will guarantee a good spot :( I remember that at Madonna's concert people were camping on the beach for days to secure a nice spot.

Yeah I thought the same, but that pic seems to be at sunset?  dont tell me thats morning lol

Oh yes, LATAM as a whole, I agree. Now, do you mean 200 dollars? Because I spent around 600 dollars (3.300 BRL) for flights and Airbnb and I'm going from 2 states of distance, like 1 thousand kilometers. I chose more expensive flights because of landing time BUT still, appears to be cheaper coming from another country in LATAM. I'm surprised, maybe something to do with our economy and different currencies?

Well from Argentina the flight with Gol costed about 300 round, my hostel bed for 4 nights was 150 (its messy but'd do)

Yeah, I think a surprise would be unfeasible under these conditions. But maybe Brazilian monsters could start a campaign for Rio de Janeiro City Hall to display a welcome message at some tourist spot, like the Sugarloaf Mountain or other location? I think it’s possible, I mean even the rector of the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary authorized a tribute for Taylor. I won’t accept anything less for Gaga  :huntyga:

I think Taylor fans paid for that message on the statue if I remember correctly. Am I tripping? If it's possible to pay for a projection, mayyyyyybe we could organize something and if everyone contributed with a small amount of money on a fund or something. That could work.

OH damn, I'd only seen the pics from later on when the show had started.

Yeah that's definitely a VIP area on top of the usual production & safety areas.

Yessss, that image that I meant, with the VIP empty. It's a big area.

My plan is to get to rio the morning of , and leave the next day . I’m told I should stay longer but honestly I’m not interested. I do hope arriving the morning of the concert day is enough to have a good spot where I can see Gaga . Anyone else has such a hop in hop out plan and what do u think of that ?

You'd probably be fine! You'll need a lot of sunscreen water and a disposable umbrella :huntyga:

Honestly, I think the best option is to try and give this idea to RDT in their comments and let them organize it, more chances of it working if it's them.

Yes they did, in fact it was a charity event organized by the rector of the Sanctuary. The fans bought food and water to help people in situations of social vulnerability, that’s why the rector authorized the projection. Maybe RDT could start something like this with the City Hall.

I honestly have no idea, but if I had to guess I’d say sunset too! The people in the front rows are definitely the ones who were camping

Oh that's awesome. I'll start throwing this idea around in their comments.

If I remember well I read some news at the time that they were not letting people camp there the days before, only on the day of the show. I could be creating a false memory, though.

It is a touristic city so it tends to be more expensive. But if your currency is Euro, the budget needed will not be big for tours and food.

Yup its quite 'cheap' for a touristic city
10 usd will get you in the club
you can get like 5 beers for 10 bucks in most clubs as well

I’m waiting for the date confirmation to buy plane tickets

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
