You're right. There's something about Disease and it's production that scratches the itch in my ADHD brain. It might be thread worthy in the future too, like an in-depth look.

 

As a fan of 14 years, I have never felt this way towards a Gaga song or lead.

Still sounds as great as the first listen, it's really solid. I'm trying not to spoil it by over listening to it tho, I'm just looking forward to putting the whole album on repeat at this point.

One of her most solid leads, for sure. Still don't get why fans didn't support it more because a good 80% of the feedback was positive. How they could show such support for DWAS, which wasn't as beloved by the fans on a whole, but pay Disease dust was odd. It's so classic Gaga but not in a way that copies what she's done before, she sounds so passionate and gives it her all, the video is good, it's going to be a blast when performed live as a tour opener. I only hope more fans who didn't get it the first time around start giving it overdue appreciation once it's part of a complete album experience.

I totally agree. The very first time I heard the song I was left wanting more. And the more I listened over time, the more the song grew and became a masterpiece. Especially after her RS interview dissecting the production. Over time, you learn to appreciate the many layers and the lyrics.

This might be my favorite lead single since Bad Romance. It's explosive and truly unlike anything else on the radio. 

I can't WAIT to hear what this is like live in full force (the acoustic versions don't count, no shade...).
