This girl clearly has/had some distain against her and it shows in her comments lmao, so it would be easy to assume she's embellishing some of this story since she inferred she was an industry plant and said she has her blocked on all platforms. But I do get the impression this is how 2006 Stefani/Gaga would have been.

I only found out this year that her dad trail-blazed guest-WiFi. Now I knew she came from a well off family, but that really would have made a significant difference to their income. We obviously don't know what happened to her "allowance" (or if she had one around that time) and someone in those comments insinuates her parents cut her off around these years (could be a fan surmising or someone she also knew at that time), so I guess it's hard to truly judge how you think someone should be based on a pre-conceived notion of their family riches. I'm glad things worked out for her, could you imagine if she was still circuiting NYC trying to make it or where she might have been if she gave up.

To anyone who took this video too personal calm tf down,  after all these years don’t take things too personal  specially if it’s not about you 

this story changed a lot the way I thought were her pre fame days, not the intense theatre kid, but also a train wreck in a toxic relationship 

makes me see her in a less idealized way and it’s better, she was far from perfect, fame is so random that that mess chick became a pop star, it’s good to humanize idols, and it’s better to stop idolizing people 

that’s when you see how constricting fame is and how you have your own closet full of skeletons and then you succeed on your career and then the whole industry is pushing you to be perfect and a role model for millions of young people
