In 2024 the world hit a critical threshold of 1.5C warming above pre industrial temperatures, a threshold scientists believe may be critical as it may further amplify feedback loops that in term increase warming further

Canada experienced the highest temperatures relative to norms with some regions averaging 4C above norms tho the average for the Country as a whole was closer to 2C to 3C still the worlds highest

I believe this cuz a normal winter means a lot of annoying days to shuvle snow, travel in snowfall days of long commutes etc

Last year tho i think i literally shuvled twice as it kept just raining and even when it snowed it melted and didnt last long :laughga:

The world will eventually burn and with the way most countries are heading politically it will burn faster. I feel sorry for the coming generations.

It's been pretty cold and cloudy here during the holiday break, but I am fully bracing myself for the immense heat when school starts. The weather just knows when to be sunny when I have to leave home :kry:

No AC?

One of my schools when I lived in Toronto had no AC and June and September was always a pain and so unconfortable

When I moved to newer suburbs and my school had AC omg it was like a gift from heaven :tony:

My parents still do not believe global warming is a thing, but of course they will not have to be around to deal with the consequences of it:crossed:

My uni has AC, the problem is the commuting from my house and back, along with the traffic, I used to get daily headaches just from that alone. I wasn't even tired of school, I was tired of the traveling lmao

How old are they? Cuz were all already dealing with consequences.

Home insurance is already rising in cost in many areas because of increased natural disasters and food prices are rising in part because crop failure is increasing
