pinknailsemoji 194 Posted January 12, 2025 Share Posted January 12, 2025 hi lms, i'm seeking some advice on travelling to brazil for the rumoured gaga concert on the beach. i'd be coming from australia (a very long way) and can make a work trip out of it as i have lots of professional connections in south america. however, i would need to book this trip soon if the concert is in may, and i feel like it's a huge gamble. for starters, gaga herself hasn't confirmed this concert. I think the mayor of Rio confirming it is pretty reliable, but there isn't an actual date. I could plan to be in latam for all of may and book my flights to rio later, but i remember how hectic the flights were when madonna did her concert there, and would worry about missing out. i would be spending my time in chile and then flying to rio just for a few days surrounding the concert. secondly, if the date turns out to not be in may, then i would likely be unable to change my trip once booked, and to me it wouldn't be worth going at all if i couldn't see gaga. it feels like a huge gamble but one that could pay off. i'm curious if anyone here went to the madonna concert, how difficult it was to make plans, and also how far in advance did madonna or city officials announce the date for the concert?? if anyone else has plans to tentative plans to travel to rio for this then please message me on insta and let's see if we can help each other out! any advice would be greatly appreciated <3 no king, or court!
