It's become very apparent that the US is not a living and breathing democracy anymore - maybe hasn't been for a while, and other liberal strongholds may soon follow. Money officially makes the rules now, prevents criminals from being pursued and allows them to become US president (= leader of the Western world). What happened to "Power to the People"? Politicians, CEOs and the 0.1 % are laughing at and sh**ting on human rights, equality and democratic values. However, these people at the top with the true power are indirectly killing thousands of people and ruining the lives of millions, or possibly (and probably) billions.
