everything about that album artwork feels like a tired, nay exhausted, trope of the "sexy pop/rap star." its so shallow ™️ im all about like being sex-positive or whatever but this is just so boring by now

This has to be one of the most regretted investments a record label has ever made. So few artists get the chance now to breakout with a full-scale album so early into their career, they usually have to go through several years of features and EPs/mixtapes first but she got given so many opportunities despite having no sign of a fanbase to sell an album. This kinda underperformance is why labels are terrified to take a risk with newcomers and won't let them even think about an album release until they have a major hit. Taylor Swift was trotting her out at every event as her newest bestie after that Karma collab as well. Mark my words, she'll be dropped like a hot potato as soon as it's socially acceptable to do so. Quietly phased out of the friendship group, just like other members before her.

Her entire schtick is too. Problem is, there's so many female rappers that popped up in the last few years and they've all put albums out. It stands to reason that not all of them are going to garner a supportive fanbase or staying power. Megan, Doja and possibly Cardi are the ones who may stick around but Ice Spice, Summer Walker, GloRilla, Sexyy Red, Latto, etc. will be lucky to hang around much longer. How did we go from not enough female rappers to too many? Only so many names have continued success, so law of averages aren't in their favour. Oversaturation of the market was a bad idea.

Have they even been seen together since Feb 2024 lol?

Feel like she's been dropped already
