It's a 2h30 flight from my city in Brazil to Rio and I'm very lucky that I'm staying with a friend, but the plane ticket is already costing 1400 buckets in my currency (the minimum wage here is 1500/month, just for comparison). I can't afford to buy the plane ticket to a rumored date and have it be wrong later, I also can't stay in Rio waiting for her because I have to work, and the prices will go higher as time passes Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The rumors and confirmation from major sources/the major were there but it wasn't "officially" announced until later (also closer to the show).
