Stars Dance Appreciation Thread

So earlier this month I started my discography reaction for Selena Gomez. I like a lot of what I've heard (especially When The Sun Goes Down), but I (to no surprise from me lol) loved Stars Dance. Now yes this is biased because I was OBSESSED with both singles back in 2013, but tbh I don't care. This is a good album. I know she distances herself from it (presumably due to a lack of creative input?), but I enjoy it.

These are my top five picks in order from when they appear on the album (this was a bit difficult):

Slow Down (My opinion hasn't changed since 2013 :vegas:)

Come & Get It (Literally one of the best songs of 2013 by far; the inclusion of the bhangra beat made it stand out so much. I know some people think Rihanna should've stuck with it for Talk That Talk, and I see why, but this did push Selena Gomez in the more mature direction she sometimes did prior to Revival so I definitely think it worked out good for her.)

Save The Day (I get major Bonnie McKee vibes from this)

Undercover (Like most of the album this could've been a hit single)

Nobody Does It Like You (How was this a bonus track?)

Honestly this album eats fr. It's a shame it didn't have more hits from it.

Thoughts?

I remember being disappointed because I  liked “Naturally” and “Love You Like a Love Song”.

And then Come and Get it was awful. Luckily she has had some good ones since Rare though.

Come & Get It should've been a huge hit. Its maybe one of two Selener songs I actually like

Wasn’t it a huge hit though? It seemed like I couldn’t escape the damn thing!

Edit to add: And I tried!
