Less than a month before Trump is set to take office, MAGA is crumbling due to statements by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. Both have expressed full support for H-1B visas as they see them as beneficial for work. This pro-immigrant statement, plus Vivek being accused of insulting American workers, caught a lot of alt-right members off guard. The pair have received massive backlash from other MAGA people, in particular Laura Loomer. The former, a woman who is largely responsible for Trumps colonial rhetoric for the Panama Canal, has expressed her anger over these statements. After a small exchange, Elons final response was removing her blue checkmark and changing her tweet character limit. This comes as part of Elon, champion of free speech, banning multiple MAGA accounts from the platform for challenging his statements. Now, even Steve Bannon has come forward calling out both Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.
