DWAS on LG7 is the right choice

I think maybe DWAS will be added as a ‘hidden track’, back in the day some artists used to do this thing where after the ‘final’ song of the tracklist there would be a long silence and it would lead to another actual, hidden final song, usually a song that sounds completely different from the rest of the album (in terms of sound and/or lyrics) or was a standalone single prior to the lead single and album release. That would make sense with Gaga describing it as the ‘missing piece of the puzzle’.

Think of it as a double encore for the album.

Please LG7 come already, I want to move on   I'm scared we will never do it, though, I can see a few people trying to use this decision as the responsible for a possible album underperformance

I mean, we know she's been in the studio in the last few weeks, so who's to say she's still not working on the album? It's not completed until it's released to the public. Adding in DWAS isn't cheap. It's a marketing strategy, sure, but why can't it also be part of her artistic vision for the album?

in this business it’s never just for the Art. The only artists that can afford being artists and doing their own stuff are legacy artists like Gaga, beyonce, The Weeknd etc. Bc no matter what they do they already hit that status that they could simply retire and still be forever famous. A good example is Katy. She unfortunately didn’t hit that status yet, she was indeed on the right path but that’s like 10 years ago. Gaga on other hand ended her prime in late 2013, but her career path took always unpredictable paths and went into acting, exploring other genres and beeing successful simply bc of her brand as an artist alone. She has a legacy that even other artists mention her as paying the way for them. Katy on other hand is still stuck in that pop girl era, and tries so hard to overcome that. 
 

My point is, that it doesn’t really matter as Gaga still has her creative freedom to do so and she indeed lives dwas, and to be honest dwas alone is waaaaaaaaaay better than disease, don’t get me wrong I love disease but dwas is a timeless song that takes you back to a specific time. And as I mentioned already SHE HAS to do numbers. It’s her job and also it’s what interscope wants. I will never understand this fanbases dislike over the fact that dwas is on lg7, I remember how everyone loved dwas back then

Swine truly was the song that kept giving  

It's the song that made me a stan at Swinefest and the SXSW Festival just solidified how much of a badass she was, it's still my favorite performance of hers by a large margin  

I think she's past "stunts" like that. She's well into her carefully curated PR friendly era, for better of worse.

i know but still, for deviations like that is why people here start paniking and thinking that gaga somehow changed the sound of LG7 to fit DWAS if the song is an integral part of the album

integral and huge are different things, if its integral then it might lead ppl to think it can be indicative of the sound and gaga change it for it, which is why so many people think that way here and are paniking lol, while huge its just that is a part of it and thats it...
