It's still in theaters after this date. It just feels oddly very soon for SUCH a successful film.

Honestly i wouldn't be surprised if the speed of the release is linked to having pt2 out in exactly a year.

Trying to get as many people into the film fanbase as quickly as possible ready for the pt 2 release.

How in earth one think is related to the other? :ladyhaha:

Mhhhm, I guess both will have a better viewing experience since the cinema still holds a lot of benefits over home viewing. Sound system and immersive qualities are both impactful for both movies, also, for me, I’m forced to actually watch the movie start to finish and don’t look at my phone or talk excessively to my friends, which, in the end benefits me as well. There are many hyped movies at the cinema that could have been an email, but every now and then it’s worth going 🤗🤗

That's so ridiculously soon. It's held the #2 movie in the country for weeks. It's still taking in like $20m+ weekly.

I guess they're trying to capitalize on the anti-theatre/pro-home viewing sentiment with on-demand rentals.

This has been the norm since Covid. Successful or not almost all the movies since then have followed this format. I am sure they have learned it was profitable because they haven’t stopped doing it. When people kept saying joker coming out on digital so early was because it flopped, I kept mentioning that this is normal. When it’s released it will still be like 25+ to buy or 20 to rent. So it’s still a lot until it comes out physically.
