But there's defo a thing between the TVs and LG7 We can see a retro TV and other stuffs linked to her past eras in some "Harlequin" visuals videos. The lyrics video of "Disease" is broadcasted on a retro TV. AND there's TV in "DWAS" mv. So why chosing to use TV for LG7 ? She addressed the hermaphrodite rumours and conspiracy theories about her, in Bill Gates documentary. So yeah the TV could represents what the medias and ppl on internet think she is. She also said that LG7 is old-school Gaga coded, that's imply that she knows that ppl have a certain vision of what she was. It make sense if you link it to "Poem to a monster" in which she asks us to appreciate her current form which is everything she was back and now. She clearly said that she likes the artificial and that she sometimes faked British accents in interviews... Gaga loves to play different personas. "Happy Mistakes" is about that, it's a meta-song that relate Gaga's story to Lee's story. Gaga created personas to heal from her traumas and Lee tries to deal with her traumas by projecting herself in the Joker's figure. Here is what she said about LG7 for a Vogue interview : “The only place reality is really present is that these fantasies are coming from a real person, trying to soothe their inner chaos. That’s where I found the reason for why I make this music. Each song is an exercise in personal chaos—a way to deal with myself.” Chaos is her many artistic vision, it's what ppl think she is, it's what she tries to express with her personas, it's what she manages manipulate of her public image and what she can't, it's what Stefani Germanotta is through her pain and joy,... LG7 is about losing herself, facing duality and finding a way back to unite all these elements of her personality together. The retro TV represents a portails to something old, like a reminiscence of herself. It's the portails that she use to remember who she is. TV is also what the public. It's how the medias portray her. It broadcast what she decides to show or to hide. Not sure if these where just rumours I readed somewhere that Bowie and Gaga wrote a letter to each others, but yep Bowie's son didn't liked the tribute to her dad. But yeah I always thought that Gaga was more influenced by Bowie rather than Madonna. And the fact that she made more and more refs to him during the beginning of this era means that LG7 will be highly influenced by his music. I remember seeing some ppl saying some times ago that LG7 could be inspired by "Station to station" and they were right.
