Flexing for flexing to this crazy extent is rare even for the ones who can put 600M on a wedding. That's not just a rich people thing. does have a God complex when you see his overall behavior. I'm just tired to see middle class people who can't stop spending their tough earned money on everything that pops up, but then complains when people who they made rich, are spending this money like rich people do.. but everyone here, if they could, if they had billions of money in their bank, they would spend $600 million on their wedding, or on a luxury mansion for their dog. Everybody here won't stop buying from Amazon or anything equivalent, but still complain when Bezos uses their money for his own good. True for some people indeed but I promise you many middle class people absolutely don't buy every new trendy stuff out. Even less in these times. And I strongly disagree about the idea everyone would for sure do the same. Many of the billionaires could do so yet their weddings would look "modest" af compare to this one. Well I don't buy anything from Amazon and idk about others who are part of this thread. I hope they don't finance this union f*cker. 😁😉

And why would Europe soon follow? Most EU countries are not led by religious nutjobs because that cult-like brainwashing is pretty much a non-issue here. People in Central Europe find it absolutely pathetic how Americans chose Trump TWICE. EU countries don't have to pick between the better of two evils with their political parties, so the far right can only ever do so much harm. And Russia, one of the biggest external aggressors, struggles to even conquer Ukraine. People in France riot and threaten to set the country on fire because of a minor pension reform. If anything remotely close to current events in the US happened, I'm pretty confident they'd bring out the guillotines again.

If you don't think Europe is on the same track then I've got some magic beans to sell you. Currently seven EU Member states have far-right parties in Government. Croatia, Czechia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands & Slovakia. Germany's far right is in the ascendency and has won at state level - Thuringia. AfD also came second in Saxony. And the AfD could very well end up in coalition with the CDU/CSU following next year's elections. The success of the Far Right in France has literally destabilised the country for half the year. Portugal's far right Chega quadrupled it's parliamentary seat count to 50 this year. The UK's been on the pathway to Oligarchy for the last 14 years and the current government is too weak to take action. Georgescu potentially will win the Presidential elections in Romania. Like the slide to far right oligarchy in Europe is well documented in Political Science.

Like the slide to far right oligarchy in Europe is well documented in Political Science. A shift to the right is only natural after decades of liberal progress. The people are aren't happy because of inflation, immigration, etc. and make the leading parties responsible, demanding change. It's what just happened in the US, too. But as I already said, European countries usually don't only have two parties to choose from, and you cannot govern in most EU countries without holding a >50% majority. So e.g. Germany: the AfD has won in Thuringia and almost Saxony, which are 2 out of 16 states. Ok. Now what? They do not have the necessary 50% majority and they cannot form a government in either of these two states because ALL other parties refuse to work with Nazis. It's like that in most developed Western countries. And yeah, I was very pessimistic after Italy and the Netherlands voted those disgusting people into their governments - but what can they do, really, now that they're in office? Italy's far right rhetoric hasn't amounted to much over the years, because if they actually did what they said they'd do, they would harm themselves and their country sooner rather than later and they know it. And they are also highly dependent on the EU, which means there are policies and sanctions in place that would make it very hard for any member state to actually go all out regarding hardcore nationalism. It's good to be cautious and we should all do everything we can to prevent fascism and corruption taking over our countries, but all that's been happening lately is a pretty common development in politics. I don't wanna downplay any legitimate worries, but it's also no use giving in to fear mongering. The pendulum will swing back again.
