Its absolutely messy, these situations always are.

But its only socially too quick to be rebounding.

The reality is if a person has reached the point that they are leaving their pregnant partner. Then the exit process began when they first started considering their unhappiness in the relationship. 

And tbh, if you're the person who is leaving someone the next relationship isn't a rebound imo. A rebound is what someone who's been rejected and is hurting is doing. Not the person who chose to leave.
