This year The Weeknd  became the artist with the most songs to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify, with 24 songs in the Billions Club.

And nearly 2,000 of his top listeners on Spotify got to relive those hits during Spotify’s first-ever Billions Club Live concert at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar on Tuesday evening (Dec. 17).

“It’s a little holiday gift for the OG XO fans supporting me since day one,” he said while blue strobe lights kicked off his 70-minute set. “2024 is almost done. But 2025, we got some new s–t coming out. New album, new tour, new movie. New everything!”

A song hitting a billion listens I feel is the new 'Vevo certified' for 100m views...to start with it's a massive achievement but after a while every semi big song reaches it.

Still hold a grudge towards the Grammy's for his After Hours album-singles: "We don't know in which genre/category to put him". Yet they really find it easy to put Beyonce on every freaking genre/category posisble. Assh*les.

Like it makes complete sense, obviously they're gonna make one for the achievement, but seeing it like this I'm like girl... what're you gonna do with all those damn plaques lol big and bulky

I'd send them out to random music museums to display and keep my top 5 prized/biggest achievements maybe. but I'm not him lmaoo and I have no plaques
