And concerning the independents you mentioned: I'd be with you on relying on them before 2024, but the people labeling themselves independent have shown they aren't a trustworthy or rational voting block at this point. They were catered to more than they should have been by the democrats and they still voted how they voted with excuses that simply didn't align with reality.
