I fully expected this (after the election) and totally support it. And I don't want to hear **** about it after Trump pardoned Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, etc., etc. (real criminals / traitors).

I agree a more plainly democratic system would be best. Starting with the abolition of the electoral college. But presidents can only pardon federal crimes since they're at the top of the executive branch. They have no say over state convictions (until Trump changes that so he can pardon himself of his 30+ felonies ofc)

The man is old, he doesn't want his son to suffer just because his last name is biden.

It looks bad going back on his word but i feel like this is 100% warranted.

Republicans do much worse and never get any comeuppance.

If anything, Dems should normalize the idea that they too can play dirty, so they can get rid of daggers hanging over them all the time.

This doesn't matter either way politically. Some people are just ready to criticize any/everything a Democrat does while staying mute on the actual people stripping us of our rights and security.

Hence why the left pisses me off. They're self defeating and dragging us all down. America just elected a practical Nazi and some of them are celebrating that a center-left moderate lost and continuing to badger the lame duck sitting president when he protects his son from charges that would usually not even be met with jail time for an average citizen.

It was the same garbage in 2016 when Trump first won. It was like the leftists took a victory lap 'cause Clinton lost after Bernie lost to her as if certain human rights weren't just set back 50 years for an entire generation (THEIR GENERATION).

I agree but they should play dirty in order to get impactful things people can feel - done. Not cry about the Parliamentarian or Joe Manchin.
