Then there are the those of us who revel in the suffering,.like her as well.... and I think that's most important - that the expression was pure and visceral.... I don't think this is anywhere near as risky as losing urself to weird music industry politics and fake friendships. She seems to be having some sort of metamorphosis which is ultimately more exciting than whatever these totally paid for charts are saying'

Strangly I had a similar thought when analysing the lyrics from Chromatica aswell, especially with tracks like 911 and Replay which get very in-depth and slightly uncomfortable.

Even the Disease mv made me feel unsettled tbh.

Honestly Azealia has a point, Gaga has never been craving for charts and it sounds like LG7 will be totally out of the easy tunes made for charts matter.

And we should be happy about this. Because it probably means another music trend will happen in a moment after LG7 drops.

 

Most of Gaga albums / songs grew in public love in times anyway. Most of her hits took time to settle.

Agree with her. I also saw The Substance yesterday and had similar feelings (but very different context ofc). Disease would have been a good supporting track for the movie soundtrack (not in terms of score but you know one of those "Inspired by" or adjacent tracks)
