Hoping for a bunch of dance remixes as well! I know they probably don’t add much to total streams or radio but would love to have a few.

Disease flopped, there’s no way around that. They should simply release another single that’s more palatable to the GP if they want chart performance.

Wait who's the target audience of these ads? Also why would radios miraculously support the song after just this message?

Can someone please explain what this is? Interscope made a graphic to help push the song to top 10? What’s this mean?  Is it legit?

:brat:I still haven’t heard Disease, but it feels amazing to know radio supports it.

It’s so strange the way it works. Shallow was an instant classic and they refused to play it for like 6 months, even Die was pretty much an instant classic and they started playing it after weeks if not months, but Disease doesn’t have it and radio lifts it up from the start

I don’t think Disease is growing faster on Radio overall than DWAS did. Pop radio maybe. But newer songs have already passed Disease in airplay. DWAS has not had that happen since it debuted.

Edit: I do feel there is more hope from Interscope for this one than her past two leads at this point though. They seem to be aware that songs don’t need to stick right away in order to be hits anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised for this one to peak later on.

I've started hearing it on the radio and it's been actually being played multiple times already. Might be a sign of this..

I honestly don’t really care about the chart performance, but it’s nice to see the label supporting the song. I think Gaga has more up her sleeve as she always does, and even if she doesn’t do a single other thing of “promo” it’s still one of the best songs she’s ever released :ally:

It also has really strong call-out scores, which is a very good sign. Hopefully the song isn't dropped and manages to stabilize on the Hot 100 and begin to move up after the holidays.

What are the current call out scores?

I think weve come to learn songs can catch on with a little persistance and shrugging off a song that didnt instantly debut at top 10 can be a mistake

The fact they released disease so close to christmas freeze and still are puttinf effort into promoting it suggests they are trying to give it longevity and may push it after christmas

Does this guarantee a smash? Maybe not. But we dont have to brush it off as an inevitable flop either. Streams have stabalized. Thats a good sign. True flops keep falling out of the chart in the weeks following release
