I could be very wrong, but Disease feels like a song they gave us early because we were getting fidgety and they're gonna push it as well as a 2nd single harder closer to the album reveal/drop after the holidays.

Probably. The fact that christmas freeze is approaching yet they are still promoting it suggests they might be trying to brew some pent up demand for the song and after christmas freeze ends and theres a bit of a reset on music Disease which is just starting to rise may take off (hopefully)
