Honestly the whole crowd was pretty dead but they had been out there in the sun for so many hours so...

PEOPLE ALWAYS SAY THIS AND IT'S TIRESOME BUT LET'S SAY IT AGAIN: COACHELLA LOWS THE SOUND OF THE AUDIENCE

I'VE SEEN VIDEOS FROM THE AUDIENCE AND IT'S VERY DIFFERENT

no but really, if she's going to perform a song that the GP adore, she should either commit to it fully or not bother cus it just felt weird

Perfect length, wouldn’t change a thing :trollga:

Michael built her a studio in his office because he loves her so Gaga built us an opera house in the desert because she loves us

Let me just sob at work real quick

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

The ONLY song that truly felt missing was Just Dance, the anthem that introduced the world to the mayhem!

I would have liked to see Edge of Glory and some Chromatica representation (and maybe a pipe dream of Marry the Night), but understand the omissions.

I think this did answer a major question for me: there’s no way this show is for anything beyond Coachella.  Imagine taking all those dancers and full band on the road.  I feel like Mexico onwards will be the “Mayhem Ball” show, and be a bit longer so she can add in some more hits.  I especially feel like we will get a longer piano section.

I agree. I think the tour is going to take a lot of notes from this, especially when it comes to costumes and setlist, but I don't think it's going to be *exactly* the same.

Have you ever tried to sing for 2 hours straight while dancing ? Parris finally took into account that Gaga isa vocalist

Yeah, not really sure what’s so difficult to understand about that. The cardio and breath control for the show *as is* is already nuts. Let the girl breathe!

I truly do think this is a good show, but does anybody else feel that after the second act it kinda got messy set list and storyline wise because the first two acts had a storyline, but after that it kind of disappeared…

I’ve noticed a few changes but I wonder — since Gaga’s and Parris partnership was so well received — why didn’t she come up with choreos for Zombieboy and SOAM, I was really expecting choreo for Disease as well

I mean the whole thing was choreographed and the dancers kept dancing the whole time but Gaga was just moving along but she did not have a fully realized dance routine like Abracadabra

I think the only song that deserved a full choreo and didn't get one was Garden of Eden. Love what they did with zombie boy just wish the choreo would be more ballroom like incorporating some tango moves  to fit the theme.

I’m so happy she did piano segments the way she did. Idg what some people are complaining about here. It was amazing finally seeing something different and not: ok here we go 30 minutes of piano.
it was more dynamic and made it more entertaining.

That was so incredible I'm not even mad about the insane amount of money the tickets cost for MAYHEM BALL

That paparazzi performance was some of the most beautiful things she has ever done.

This was her best show to date btw.

10/10

That was the best performance I’ve seen from any artist ever and Gaga x Michael are out of their minds if they didn’t put budget into a film like Beyoncé Homecoming. This felt like a magnum opus performance. I’ve never seen anything so cohesive and theatrical. Absolutely unreal. Mother MOTHERED

I mean the whole thing was choreographed and the dancers kept dancing the whole time but Gaga was just moving along but not a strict dance routine like Abracadabra

Probably because the problem with Gaga’s live choreographed performances has always been her breath control. If you look back at a LOT of her choreo heavy tours like BTWB and TMB, she’s constantly out of breath and her voice virtually disappears at points in the songs (and she sweats to high hell) when she’s dancing in every number. This way she has much better breath control AND can still dance during some numbers and it also means if she sweats less she needs less touch ups thus less transitioning time between numbers. Parris is her best choreographer and musical director bc she understands where Gaga’s strengths (her vocals) are and where her weaknesses are (breath control).
