Copiana hunny, I for one am expecting almost nothing chartwise, but I am absolutely expecting the best album of the millenium for me personally. 

Now that Disease is such a bop I couldn't care less about the chart performance.

Disease is one of her best songs ever, so if this is just the start I am SO HYPED to hear the album. It's truly like I'm finally getting the Lady Gaga album I've always wanted since Born This Way, and Disease is so good it should tide me over until February.

Honestly I feel like this album is going to change pop music again as we know it. Cultural reset. If Disease is just a preview of what's to come, strap in, kids. (or strap on, whatever your vibe).

A lot of y'all feeling like they're not doing enough already. I understand, but I think they're aiming for a slow burn era here. On this...

There is so much that labels now know it terms of internal streaming metrics – they know when to pull a lever on a video, performance, remix, physical release, and if said single can be maximized and when, to produce the highest chart numbers. If they indeed plan to put out the album in Feb, that shows they're thinking longitudinal. It takes an organic hit, and organic traction to produce that kind of long term momentum. Let's just sit back and enjoy that she has great management and a team that loves and supports her art. They want to make money as much as we want to this era to be embraced by the general public and fans alike. Few artists exist at her caliber of money-making and hit-making potential these days, so there is no way they're going to neglect the opportunity and allow it to slip through the cracks. And I'm sure if for whatever reason, it looks like Disease cannot be made into an organic hit (via social media, playlisting, eventual performances, etc.) they will move the album promo resources to follow-up singles and content. And I will say this, too. The more that DWAS soars, the more they will (likely) have budget-wise to invest in LG7. 

Can't wait for what's to come. She is clearly lit up and with the evident structural support, this is goin to be a lot of fun

Also, I will say, I think we're entering an era where "too much too soon" is not effective. Look at the biggest eras in pop today. Chappell and Charli especially, but I would say the same for Billie. The general public's consumption of music is changing, especially in the pop sphere, and it feels like Interscope understands that.

I mean, I love Charli and it’s amazing seeing her success but when Von Dutch came out, it didn’t perform that well and in the same way she was underground before Brat summer took off, maybe GaGa could have a bounce back from promo and newer singles, who knows, just enjoy the ride.
