Is the lead you all. Let’s not pretend is not. It flopped and that’s ok, is not a reflection of the quality but the marketing.

Sneaky Oliver

Well I really thought they had a plan to keep it stable for week 2, maybe the initial response wasn’t what they’re expecting so they basically gave up??

If they had no plans at all for a new single, so why didn’t they let DWAS have its moment for the rest of the year? They really made me think they wanted to capitalize specifically from Halloween for a reason :saladga:

at least she’s still peaking on Spotify and we’ve still got one of the most successful tracks of the year regardless of LG7

Plus playlisting and radio payola. The promotion has been decent. Honestly not sure what the problem. Guess the Gp just said no

The ‘problem’ is pretty obvious… the song is not that great however some of yall won’t admit it :cheeky:

Absolutely tragic not only for a lead single but a lead single of such high caliber. LM's (and maybe even gar's team) who kept claiming longevity was the goal have been deluded cause of DWAS's success. Wish they frontloaded the shjt outta this cause i knew debut week was gonna be its peak + Disease isn't the type of song that would grow with the public although i was secretly hoping i'd be proven wrong. Not to mention the holidays are coming up so there's literally no time for it to grow unless the public are somehow still interested in it by next year which clearly won't be the case. Video along with the song's release, physicals, etc. all should've happened in the first week.

They’ve hardly pushed it, what can you expect

Nah. This song just doesn't have much potential to win GP's heart. It's too heavy and noisy for them.

I’m not a fan of the song. I don’t have the urge to replay it. Is strange, but yeah. In my humble  opinion, I don’t think is a great single. Good song but not single material

Be patient Monsters! This is all planned. Bobby is letting this strategically flop so that there will be more anticipation for the next single. Gaga's team knows what they're doing!

As much as I love the music and video, truly the best she's released since Born this way as a lead, but their attitute for the new pop music makes me wanna say

kim kardashian GIF

Like.. could the beginning of this era be any more boring? They're pushing a 3 months old song, apearing at a ralley to preforme a decade old song and a cover essentially.. It's the same as before release, but at least we have a new song I guess.

I'm not surprised by this songs performance. disease is a great song but I don't think its single material, it's very heavy and not better than born this way or applause like I've seen some people claim. it definitely needs a lot of help and strategic promotion for casual music listeners or average people to want to listen to this more than once.

I'm also not surprised by gaga/ her team's approach because they've literally been doing this for 3 eras now?

I'm a pretty objective fan, and it's a good song aside from maybe the lyrics. It should be a hit. It's not great or anything but it checks a lot of boxes to be a hit. Stupid Love this is not
